Very Nice Original 1964 Ford F-100 Custom Cab Short Box Fleet Side Older Restoration Of Southern USA Imported Truck.

This is an original appearing1964 Ford F100 short box pickup truck.  Acloser examination of the undercarriage reveals the original unaltered damagefree frame which has an older black paint coating, showing areas of minorsurface rust.  The cab floor pans appearoriginal, rust and damage free, painted and detailed in the body colour.  The inner and outer rocker panels appearoriginal, rust and damage free.  Bothdoors appear original, rust and damage free, fit and operate correctly. Theinner step up area is also original, rust and damage free.  Both front fenders appear original and damagefree.  The hood appears original, rustand damage free, fits and operates correctly, painted and detailed in white onthe inner panel.  The fleet side truckbox appears original, rust and damage free, fits correctly.  The tail gate is also original, rust anddamage free, fits and operates correctly. The pickup bed box which is the original patterned material, is rust anddamage free, painted and detailed in the body colour.  The truck roof panel and lower cab cornersappear original, rust and damage free. Thefront and rear suspension is the original unaltered design with replacementparts as required.  It is painted anddetailed in black, both appearing to be in good working order.  The engine in this vehicleappears to be the original 292 cu. In. V8, smooth running without signs of oilleakage or consumption, painted and detailed in red colour, showing signs ofminor deterioration.  It is equipped withthe original accessories including2 barrel carburetor andmanifold, with an aftermarket chrome breather, original valve covers paintedred.  It is equipped with the originalexhaust manifolds and cross over pipe, painted in silver heat paint.  The firewall and inner fenders appearoriginal, rust and damage free, painted and detailed in gloss black.  The firewall is equipped with the originalmaster cylinder.  The rad cradle is newcorrect replacement, painted in gloss black, fitted with new aftermarketaluminum radiator. 
The transmission in thisvehicle appears to be the original factory installed speed standard,controlled and monitored by the original column mounted shifter, with recent replacemebt clutch in goodworking order. The vehicle is equipped withan older original style single exhaust system  in good working order.
 PAINTThepaint on this vehicle is an older base clear coat application over the originalturquoise and white colour combination which was the original colour.  It has smooth glossy finish with minorareas of orange peel.  There are alsoseveral areas in the lower portion, touched up over paint chips.  There is no evidence of body damage or rustperforation at this time. INTERIORThe interior in this vehicleretains the original bench seat which has recently been recovered with blackvelour cloth material pleated centre section with black vinyl outer shells, ingood condition.  The carpet is nonoriginal custom installed black cut loop pile replacement, in good condition.  It is also equipped with the factoryinstalled seatbelts.   The door panels are paintedthe body colour, fitted with aftermarket oval speakers.  There is non original grey cloth headlinershowing minor wrinkling, in good condition. The dash is original, painted the body colour, housing the originalgauges, appearing to be in good working order, along with an aftermarketPioneer single CD stereo.  There is alsoan aftermarket American wiring fuse panel and harness correctly installed belowthe dash.  The vehicle is equipped withthe original steering column, mounted with the correct original steering wheel,in good condition, also painted the body colour.  This vehicle has also had recent correct rubbergasket window and door replacements.  Itis also equipped with new correct replacement gas tank, mounted in thecorrect location to the rear of the bench seat. CHROMEThefront and rear bumpers appear to be rechromed originals, in very goodcondition.  The front bumper is fittedwith optional bumper guards with rubber inserts.  The rear bumper is fitted with optional stepup plates with rubber inserts, in good condition.  The grill and headlight bezels appearoriginal, aluminum alloy material showing minor dullness and surfacescratches.  It is also equipped with theoriginal style, optional chrome dual outside rearview mirrors, showing minorchrome dullness.  The exterior custom cabaluminum alloy body stainless is original, in good condition, showing minordullness. WHEELS TIRES
Thevehicle is equipped with non original aftermarket, painted white, slotted 15x8steel wheels mounted with Firestone Firehawk raised white letter radials sizeP235/70R15’s on the front and rear. GLASS
The windshield is recent,tinted and shaded safety glass replacement, new appearing along with new rubbergaskets.  The side and vent windows areoriginal, non tinted safety glass, in good condition.  The rear window is later model optionalFord sliding safety glass, in good condition. The side windows are manually assisted, in good working order.
