Posted here is an excellent example of vintage 1949 Indian Scout model 249. The bike was running and functioning well with freshly rebuilt 436 cc engine before it was parked in dry storage more than decade ago. The engine rotates freely. The fuel tank and carburetor will need service work before starting. The sale includes an extra fuel tank, miscellaneous parts, keys for both tanks and original manuals and parts book. 
California title is clean clear and Non-Op. am posting this for friend who is local entrepreneur specializing in surfboards and related antiquities. This bike is part of his vintage motorcycle collection that he has owned for years.The motorcycle is listed locally and reserve the right to end the listing at any time.
