Immaculately restored 1972 Ducati 450 caf?© racer for sale.  Excellent condition, less than 200 miles on it since $2300 engine rebuild.  New battery, New Borranis, New Marzocchis, New Brakes, New Megaphone, Rear Sets etc.  Carb rebuilt last week in preparation for sale.  450s are rare because the factory refused to ramp up production in the early 70's with the onslaught of "superbikes" like the Honda and the BSA/Triumph 3.  Ducati rightly concentrated on their twins in order to stay relevant, resulting in low 450 production numbers.  Starts well and runs extremely well.  It is fast and light.  Handling is excellent and the brakes are perfect  simply can't kick start it or fit on it at all due to knee surgery and arthritis. I have briefly ridden it (awkwardly) twice in three years and it spent the rest of its life in my living room.  It was appraised at $8,500 in 2013 by Maurice Bramhall Associates.  This vehicle is for sale locally as well so it may be withdrawn from sale at any time.  Vehicle was purchased in the Toronto area from Ducatista who restores Ducati singles.  Must pay $500 by Paypal within 48 hours.  Will help to arrange shipping to Canada or the US.I have trailer, can arrange to bring the bike to Buffalo for reasonable fee.Please email me if you have questions "before you bid"Email me regarding international shipping.
