Restored, 40 yearold dirt bike. Be sure to view all photos and read description carefully, anyquestions, please ask. 1976 IndianMT-175 Motocross Off Road Racer. This recentlyrestored example is in top condition. The MT-175 is rare in any condition, asonly few hundred or so MT-175 motocross bikes were imported to the UnitedStates in 1976, the last year of production by Indian.  Mostly complete, and in original condition asit came from the factory in 1976, this little bike has been tuned up, cleaned,painted, and detailed to showcase its originality. Featuring Minarelli motorwith Mikuni carburetor, both as originally spec'd at the time. Everything worksas expected: the motor, front forks and rear shocks, clutch, gearbox, brakes,etc.Stored in heatedgarage and ridden sparingly after being restored, the bike starts easily whencold and after warming up runs very well, with noticeably more power than thesmaller 100cc and 125 cc models.  Acquiredafter an amateur restoration, necessary repairs were made over the past year tobring it as close to original and as period correct as possible.  The carburetor was overhauled and many partswere replaced. These include: new black Oury grips, custom fabricated airfilter, throttle cable, seat cover, and numerous fasteners. The correctoriginal coffin-shaped gas tank, fenders and correct fiberglass side panelswere all professionally painted using quality auto body paints and primers.Apologies includedried and cracked original tires, and an incorrect seat from an MI-175. Thecover is new but the seat is not the correct MT shape. This has proven to be adifficult item to source so far. The frame, engine, and some miscellaneousitems have been rattle can sprayed, and would benefit from professional job,there are some chips and scrapes here and there. Also dent in the front rim,hardly noticeable, but it is there, as are some rusty spokes and small chassisparts. It is an absolute blast to ride and turns heads anywhere and everywhereit is seen. great addition to any Vintage dirt bike collection or as rider/ racer.Full payment viaPayPal within days of auction's end is expected.Bike can be pickedup locally in Westchester County NY, approximately 30 miles north of NYC.
