Up for sale is my 1978 KZ1000.  have owned the bike since 2009 and haveperformed all of the work myself and can answer any questions.  have some of the receipts but not all and Ialso have some pictures of the engine when was building it.  The bike has been together for around 6-7years in its current form, so it has been tested and done correctly.The valvetrain has all been adjusted (measured and replacedthe valve spring shims to obtain correct valve clearance), carbs have beenrebuilt, synced, and re-jetted and the ignition system upgraded to solid stateDyna components.  It sounds like asewing machine when you??™re cruising.I had the bike repainted couple years ago.  It has base/clear coat with the factorydecals under the clear and sanded/buffed to look all one level.  The paint is not perfect but it??™s very close.   You can clearly see what is in thereflections in the pictures and it looks as good or better in person.The only thing that the bike could use is set of forkseals up front, very slight seepage.  Thechrome looks presentable but does show some age.  The tires are in ok shape.Through my ownership, almost all of the wear parts have beenreplaced and or upgraded.  Below is alist of the parts can remember have put on, am sure am forgetting afew.  Feel free to contact me about the motorcycle, no solicitors or help needed in trying to sell the bike.  If you have zero feedback, please contact me before bidding or your bid will be removed.  Jeff 216-509-7586Wiseco 1105CC top end kitNew cam chain and chain follower/tensioner assemblyShift forks replaced (I had lowmileage set so just put them in)Performance APE clutch year agoDyna ignition and coils /taylor 8mm wiresRebuilt/synced/re-jetted carbsKerker into exhaustNew clutch cable and throttlecablesNew LH and RH controlssuperbike handle barsNew seat and pan (Z1 style)Rear caliper rebuilt and performance pads put inNew battery last year
