                                     1988 Harley Davidson FXR-SP LOWRIDER The thing love about motorcycles is that they reflect aperson's individuality and personality and this particular piece of iron,steel, aluminum and chrome is no exception as this bike built for myself.
The bike was built by me the way wanted it, on my terms,in my time-frame and my way. No one piece no matter how small or how big wasoverlooked at that time, cost was never factor. 
I also built this bike like most do with the intent ofkeeping it forever. But as circumstances would have it, that is no longer anoption. Simply put haven't ridden it in couple of years and my better halfhas convinced me that "it has to go". So, it is now time for its legacyto continue in someone else’s hands. 

A little bit about this particular model of Harley Davidsonmotorcycles. It was supposed to represent the comeback of Harley-Davidson afterthe buyback of Harley-Davidson from AMF and was designed and created to putHarley-Davidson back on the map. But for those that know these bikes, it isbest known as being the motorcycle Mickey Rourke rode in the movie “HarleyDavidson and the Marlboro Man” after being customized and then affectionately named BlackDeath.

The motorcycle has tons of detail all throughout, I've triedmy best to show as much as possible of the good as well as the bad, so lookclosely at all the photos that I've provided and feel free to ask any questions ifneed be before bidding, as all sales are final.
The motor, transmission, gas tank, rear fender and fewother parts are all original to the bike and numbers matching also the framehas not been cut off at the back like most. The front forks are raked out 10 degrees. The Integrity of the motor is solid, it has greatcompression, doesn't smoke or burn oil and the cam was upgraded few yearsback. When was riding this bike, it was as solid as bike could be. Startedright up every time and never left me standing on the side of the road. 

The negatives; the rocker covers may need to be replacedfrom cosmetic standpoint as seen in the photo. The motorcycle leaks about adime to quarter size of oil after riding. The bike needs to be tuned, the accelerator pump on thecarburetor may also need to be replaced, as well because the bike now hesitates whenyou quickly advance the throttle. The carburetor is S&S shorty carb sothe parts are dearly available and relatively simple to install. Cosmetically she is not perfect, this motorcycle is afterall 1988 model, but considering all, it is one very nice motorcycle with badassfactor of  abut 10 +                                                                                                        So, if you're like me and enjoy standing out from the packand not looking like everyone else at bike rally or biker bar this might justbe the bike for you.

Finally, for the sake of being the most upfront and honestwith you all, know is it's hard to fully get good idea on the overallcosmetic as well as mechanical condition of listing with just group ofphotos and few choice words. So, with that being said just keep in mind thisbike is 1988 and the bike has some cosmetic imperfections like scuffs,scrapes, scratches and the paint is not 100% show bike quality also the oilcooler is not hooked up at present but easily can be or removed. Overall, Ipersonally consider them all to be minor and on personal level none of thoseimperfections have ever bothered me contrary as for as I'm concerned they just simply add to the overall cool factor.
