Approximately 500 of these exist, who knows how many are still around. Many not in original condition or with such low serial number. This bike was purchased by our son upon leaving the Army. He was the second owner and the bike has remained in the family. The bike starts and runs well. The Harley Davidson MT-500 is powered by Rotes 500 cc single cylinder, valve air cooled engine with electric start and. kick-start. Harley Davidson was in hopes of winning Military contract and was never realized. The bike is equipped with twin detachable cased complete with key locks for documents, ammunition or whatever. Bike is equipped with water proof rifle case, for military enthusiast or serious collector. This is must have for your motorcycle collection. The bike is in very good condition left rear rubber turn signal arm was broken, it was glued, taped and metal stiffer rod was inserted. Bike is ready to ride anywhere. Bike is currently registered in Arkansas with clear title. Serial Number #000006.
