acquired this 1972 Suzuki TC125 as US import about 9months ago. It is now UK registered and V5 is in my name. This is the model with the speed gearbox with high and low ratios so effectively speed. The bike came as runner but was sprayed all over in matt blackpaint, which to degree protected the chrome which is pretty good for 50 yearold motorcycle.I completely dismantled the bike, repainted parts, replacedunserviceable components etc.Works undertaken: Rebored engine +1.00mm, still needs to berun in, new cables, chain, front sprocket, new front tyre, replacement speedo(old one broken), new fork seals, new handlebars, grips, levers, battery Tankand side panels repainted, new fuel tap, replica indicators, replica rearlight, carburettor overhauledWhen got the bike the loom was butchered, this has beenrepaired and all electrics work, could do with further tidying, but as say itall works fine.Overall the bike is largely original, apart from the switchgear and headlight. have the original headlight, the bowl and rim are verygood but the sealed beam unit is knackered. There is slight tear at the rearof the seat The bike starts first kick and runs really well, autolubesystem works fine and both high and low gearbox ratios work fine. This is chance to acquire roadworthy bike, currentlyon SORN, now fairly rare model in UK, where most of the work has been done, which can be used as is or made totally original with very little work.I’m selling as have other projects to complete, but willkeep it if it doesn’t sell for what want as it is fun to ride.Viewing actively encouraged, subject to government rules. Bikebased in Dartford, Kent. No test rides without purchase monies in my hand.Collection only. Payment cash or bank transfer
