First please look at the photos carefully as I'm bound to forget things. The photos show this beautiful bike quite well but don't do it full justice. This bike is unique and it really is perfect !It is very very fastIt sounds totally awesomeIt is comfortableThe handling is greatThe brakes are great
I'm 60 now and have owned around 150 motorcycles since my 250cc BSA when was 17. this is my 25th Triumph. This is the best motorcycle I've ever owned and can tell you I've had some good ones, from Laverda Jotas, through Rickman Kawasaki's, to Triumph Tiger 800 XCA there's nothing much haven't owned or ridden. This Thruxton brings grin to my face every single time ride it.
If you don't like fancy bike then this is not for you people stare at it, or grin and raise their thumbs, the only word is "awesome".
I can't list everything here that it has but let me explain why it's not an "R" simply because do not like the yellow and gold bits on the version and really don't need infinitely adjustable suspension that you fiddle with few times and then never touch again !In all other respects it's the same as the R. The exact same engine and the exact same electronic rider modes.I don't even use "Sports" because it's nuts.
The bike is covered in little custom "touches" that you may not even notice. The chainguard is stainless and hand made, the "carbs" have brass bits on top and even cables going in the tops which don't actually do anything, it's fuel injection, but they were made to look like old monoblock carbs by Triumph so these little bits just add to it's looks.
If you are interested seriously you should come and see the bike, it's impossible you would be disappointed. Please ask any questions.Of course it has all it's documents, spare keys, spare unused exhausts, etc etcIt just had it's first MOT. It has done 4100 miles from new and have it's full history. Three owners but the first was Triumph. The next was an aircraft engineer who made lot of the custom parts but hardly rode it.Oh and did mention the sound It has stainless pipe fitted and Vance and Hines silencers. The sound is just the best and has to be experienced, can't describe it.
It isn't cheap but IT IS the best !
