I brought this car in Sacramento California it has Very Low Humidy HOT Dry Climate the car has never left the California It was Built in Los Angeles and Sold New in the Bay Area It even still has the original California Black Number Plates on it.
got the Motor running today and its real sweetie it does need fuel pump which have just ordered one and it will be here Tuesday and will fit it so you can drive it on your trailer or transporter !!!
The Motor looks like its never been touched still has all the smog system on it and even the exhaust manifolds still have the original lock tabs etc on it
It Can be Registered in all States Left hand Drive have the Import Approval Permit etc The Body is Rust Free it does have some surface rust on rear guard as shown in photos its from previous repair some bog has cracked and the water has got in but all surface rust it will need to be fixed properly and the Right Front Guard also has Pretty Good Sized Dent on it managed to pickup Real Clean Driver Quality 1966 R/H Front Guard for it in the US and its Even in White Original Paint it will be arriving in future container in few weeks it is included in the price of the car and can be sent it onto to any out of state purchasers when it comes in also had my panelbeater hammer and dolly few minor dents around the place and he worked on the r/f guard to make it more presentable no filler was used just hammered and dollied it all up .
The car definitely needs some minor body work but all pretty easy repair stuff Good thing is there is no Rust Issues just some dents it looks like its pretty much all original paint and rest of the body is very straight and clean This will make Very Nice Car with not too much work !!!
All the Glass is Good Condition and all windows roll up and down etc
The Interior is actually really tidy not great deal to do in there to make it presentable or Upolstery Kits are available in USA from Several Vendors if you wanted to go the whole hog !!!
Its getting impossible to find Rust Free Galaxie Fastbacks these days anywhere Let alone real Cool Original 289 Car that will seat Real Sized People No Problem and another in the Boot too !!! Will Make Great Sunday Car or Great Candidate for Wedding Promo Car also !!!
