Regretful Sale My 1970 240z Series #409 with Matching numbers engine.
Please contact me for more information or photos.
Inspection would be advisable on such purchase.

After owning the car for around or years now decided to start my project.
Work done in the last months:
I had the car stripped to bare metal.
Epoxy Primed.
All rust cut out and replaced with metal by professional. NO RUST. how often can you buy zed with no rust.
It then went off to the panel beater to be prepared and painted in pack factory green (907).
Body has had stone guard underneath.
Car is painted inside and out.
Current Condition as seen in pics shell is mounted on steel frame doors, bonnet, hatch, bonnet inspection hatches, vented panel under windscreen, fuel lid, guards, headlight buckets, lower valance and blinker corners are all painted with the car but are separate (not bolted on).
All the hard work and heartache and big money has been spent as anyone who has taken on zed project from bare metal would already know.
Car was mostly together when bought it but was missing couple of parts that could see. No front Windscreen. May not have had heater core. Front Bumper missing.I do have some spares from other 240's in the shed.
All the important bits are there. The original steering wheel with no holes. The original engine (has not been running in 20 years but was all in dry storage), twin su carbs, diff (yes, forward mounted for those in the know) and gearbox. Interior was pretty much complete. It was rolling when got it so all suspension is there. All glass apart from front windscreen. couple of grills to choose from. Boxes and Boxes of bits.
I have also purchased lot of new parts. Full body rubber and seal kit. Full suspension rubber kit (rubber not urethane). New badges. New brake master. Full stainless Steel bolt kit for the body. New front bumper. Brake rebuild kits. Some new plastics for the interior. lots more in the box thousands spend on parts.
There is still money to be spent. It will need interior done. seats re-covered, dash re-skinned, etc.
Unfortunately do not have the time or money to complete the project so reality has set in and its up for sale.
The first 501 car off the production line for RHD (for Australia NZ believe) were classed as series cars are very rare and almost impossible to find with matching numbers engine. This will be very valuable car once completed.
You may have to wait long while before you see another of these up for sale in this condition with original engine.
