Factory 253 4-speed matching numbers WB tonner tray back professionally converted to wheeler (lazy rear axle) by Hayman Reese in Melbourne and build plated. Huge 2.7m long 2m wide tray!
Twin 55L petrol tanks, twin 120L LPG tanks (tested and passed until 2023!) Great Statesman front end.
Suspension and brakes are fairly new and work well. (Thousands in receipts for suspension, electrical, lpg and brakes since 2013).
Sale will NOT include the following:
Diff shaft, motor exhaust, trans, s/wheel, dash instruments, a/c, p/s. It will roll (lazy axle) onto truck or trailer. Will sell for $2300 without statesman nose cone.
I'm using drive-line etc in other projects.
These Utes run standard one tonner running gear so to get her back on the road you could put any motor and gearbox/trans with tail shaft out of any tonner and diff from any Ute, tonner or panel van.
This is special and unique vehicle that is well deserving of restoration. The last owner had it as daily driver for 27 years. It has rust in the right door and left floor pan. The chassis is great I've not seen rust anywhere in the rails.
The hard work is done as it's already licensed (WA).. and as V8 so no engineering, no looking over your shoulder....
