Very comfortable to drive, and surprisingly powerful and economicalfor an automatic four cylinder, given the weight. Has been used sparingly overthe last five years. Paint and bodywork is excellent for car of this vintage(a few stone chips). Comes with many technical manuals and documents, includingoriginal manuals and first aid kit. Registered until November, 2017(personalised plates not included – will fit with general issue plates uponsale). Selling as purchased another convertible for my wife and don’t seethe point in having two. The Bad:Fuelgauge is intermittent. Missing the cover on one interior light. Needs new tyreto match the other three (currently running on the spare). The instrumentlights do not work. Does NOT come with RWC. The Ugly:Ithas problem with the exhaust. It sounds fine on idle and cruising, but noisy onacceleration (it’s hollow rattling sound). assume it is leak or problemwith the muffler – haven’t looked into it. Alsothe electro-hydraulic soft top DOES NOT WORK. It began leaking hydraulic fluida few years ago. attempted to remove the faulty actuators but managed tostrip out one of the main alloy-hex head bolts (Two new replacement ones areincluded in the sale). The whole roof assembly will likely need to be removed fromthe car and repaired (new seals are available from the U.S.). All parts areincluded in the sale – but you will have to put few hours into getting theroof working as it is partially disassembled. You must be mechanically mindedor have good friend who is. The rear interior panels, motorised seatbelt arms,and boot lining is currently out of the car to provide access to the roofmechanism. The automatic roll bar and the rear electric windows have also beendisabled. Last time saw the roof it was still in very good condition with nottears or holes, and the glass window was perfect. However, it has been foldedaway for number of years, and so cannot guarantee its condition. I haveall the technical manuals from Mercedes you will (probably) need to help get itworking again, as well as the correct hydraulic fluid. I’ve been driving thecar without an issue on days when I’m sure there’s no rain. AllReasonable Offers Considered
