Condition:
Interior: black leather no rips or tears tearshood lining great, electric seats working, multifunction steering wheel working including cruise control, sunroof working with no leaks, some pixelation on text in instrument cluster
Exterior:A few car park dings, side indicator on one front fender has been hit and there is slight depression, pretty straight, some paint fade on rear bumper, some small stone chips Front bumper air dam needs replacing from being caught on parking concrete stop was way too high doh and ripped the skirt when reversing off)
Transmission: Works, manual shift works smoothly
Engine:Most of the cooling system replaced months ago after water pump failure.New water pump, radiator, coolant reservoir and hosed replaced. Belts replaced. CCV valve replaced.
issues: Blows cloud of smoke sometimes for about 10 secs when started after sitting for while. Is fine after that even when under acceleration. Suspcct blockage in vacuum hoses. runs but engine light is on. has oil leaks.
Tyres: Rear months old, Front need replacing
If you were me: love this car, and have seriously considered spending the money (replacing gaskets and getting the engine back up to spec), replacing some components in the suspension, (control arm bushes etc), and the front air dam. have inherited 2dogs however and don't want to destroy the interior with claws through leather so need car can put them in the back big dogs. If you were passionate and wanted to resurrect one of BMW's finest this is great buy,. If you needed lots of great parts to keep the one you have rocking tis would make an incredible car to part out (although it may break my heart!)
