Here is my 1964 Ford Cortina, have owned it for years but have decided to sell it as I do not have the time to finish it.
Body wise it is quite straight with no signs of previous rust or accident damage that have seen, it had been painted inside and underneath and panels on rotisserie before purchased it. The paint is not perfect, it has some imperfections but is still quite presentable and useable. It has an alloy half roll cage.
The car had been running 1600 711M block with duplex timing chain, A6 cam, high volume oil pump, lightened flywheel, big valve pre cross flow head which all come with the car. The engine had been disassembled before bought the car due to head gasket failure which had caused the bores to become rusty and pitted, the block could be sleeved and re-used.
However another complete 711M engine is included in the sale, they are quite hard to come by now and are strong engines.
There is various other spares as in the photos.
It would be great basis for Lotus tribute or to build race car, would love to see someone finish it.
I also have excellent reconditioned Lotus cylinder head which any buyer of the car would have first option to buy.
