All rustprofessionally removed and repaired, rustproofed, and has CouplerTecelectronic rust system. New Vinyl Roof fitted (as per build sheet).All new interior including underlay, carpets, hood lining,door trims, seats etc. Console recovered and has new shifter surround and correctfactory depress gearknob. Dash facia Hydrographed in Walnut Woodgrain and setwith period VDO Gauges. New ignition barrel, boot and door locks/keys.New Windscreen Hidden immobiliser switch.All parts re-chromed, all stainless polished. New Rubbersand seals as well.Car professionally wired with it all being hidden giving theengine bay that clean factory look.Wheels are factory originals refreshed, with new trims and PMDcenter caps, and run new Dunlop GT Sport tyres. Spare is in the boot and is theuntouched item from 1970. New Pedders sport shocks all round as well as newwheel bearings.The bonnet tacho is factory addition leftover from the Gen1 Firebirds optioned on the ’70 only. (still needs to be connected).The aim with this car was to take her back as close tooriginal as possible, but with few tasteful mods from the era wanted addedlike the Trans Am flutes, Formula Stripes, Bonnet Tacho, Engine Start buttonand interior Courtesy lights. Every original part that could be used orrevamped on the car was, the rest was ordered new from Firebird Central in theStates. This car was built to be kept, so has the best of everything. It is nota massive horsepower car (just mild, but in saying that, shes no slouch either),and was designed with reliability in mind. It has been designed to be drivenand enjoyed; not to be driven between Servos. As such, it starts first timeeverytime, and is quiet, smooth pleasure to drive around town or on theHighway.Documentation has been obtained from PHS Services in thestates with the some interesting facts on the car including Dealer Order Formwith everything the car is optioned with. It is also accompanied by previousreceipts and Rego papers from the owner in California.As far as my research shows, this is the only Keylime GreenFirebird in the country. It is one of the rarest and most sought-aftercolours in the Firebird range, and largely influenced my decision to purchaseher in the first place. On top of this, in general there are not many Gen 2Firebirds in the country fullstop.
