real GENUINE 50 thousand MILE landcruiser wagon. YES ITS REAL_(81200)KMS ON the odometer Starts -RUNS drives and works-JUST LIKE BACK IN 1976. Don't miss this-Sure it needs some restoration of the body-yet it is not difficult to restore vehicle except for the seriously rusted sections-so once they are cut out and replaced the rest is good. the interior is original in ever7y detailand serviceable. The mechanics are great. towed 7x5 trailer about 90kms on dirt road the last time used it,and it drives beautifully. The old style is there. Its cruiser,in name and nature. Don't think it'll race down the freeway-yet despite the rust holes;I would be able to drive it anywhere in australia on permit,as it is sold. The water pump body is alloy, and has bit of corrosion,so think might put new one on it before leaving to go interstate, yet the truck is actually going fine. don't think much of the brakes, and the windscreen is shattered/cracked beyond belief,by branch that belted it-(Thanks son!) HOW MANY LOW KMS UNMOLESTED LANARE AVAILABLE> BID TO BUY NOT TO LOOK>Farm is being sold, and no where to keep this at the retirement home. IT"S ALL OVER FOR ME >SOMEONE GETS TO HAVE THE FJ!! Pay within days of your winning bid. No stupid low offers-the neighbour is offering 2grand-cause he knows it-yet know his wife will abuse me if let him have it-yet the wagon is worth every cent of that-and more. local guy with 120k kms exqample had has painted and then it sold for 14grand!! This truck has been carefully used on farm only since 1978!On 28-Oct-17 at 08:44:09 AEDST, seller added the following information:RUST_FJ55-81k kms---- Rust REPORT-Read the list below. NO It is NOT NEW CONDITION-Just has very low kms and small amount of mechanical deterioration-YET-YES. RUST is the reason this wagon has not yet reached decent bid price!IT HAS isolated RUST in certain areas Where it is rusted-it is rusted through. Read RUSTED THROUGH-not repairable in these areas-As in Needs sections cut away and REPLACED.Like in the tv shows which you can see, where the proper bodybuilders restoring old cars (LIKE 40yr old cars from 1970's)cut sections out and use new metal to repair the rusted bits. You can only do this if the rust is isolated to certain areas-which is what is on offer here.
PLEASE see the list below:-
RUSTED AREAS---
RHS sill section below front door AND PART way along under the rear door
Rhs floor for the length of the area adjacent to the sill along the front door opening,in for 1-2 inches in spots, and
a section at right angles to the sill line for about 5inches where there is seam to join up the front and rear floor sheets
rear roof at gutter area
rear door in 50 cent piece sized hole where the original badge goes
lhs upper rear wheel arch
RH front  corner of roof adjacent to windscreen and along drivers side above door at gutter level
RHF guard outer lower valance
Area inside lower RHF guard
LHR lower door skin in rear corner for about 4inches.
LHSwindscreen pillar&
RHS windscreen pillar inner and outer at edge
LHS roof at gutter level ALL ALONG
LHSfar rear lower corner
Rhs far rear lower corner

To inform those of you who are looking at this as an easy fix-You are right. Mechanically it is! The fuel tank has dirt in it and may need work or just cleaning:for years the wagon has run on an auxiliary tank from the rear compartment that has the fuellines routedthrough from it-works great for us like that, starts straight away, and you always know when there is petrol!Just shake the tank before getting thje truck!! Not legal for road use!!The body of the water pump is alloy and has got old and porous,so if you drive the wagon for while around the farm the water pump starts to seep moisture and it becomes wet-Time for new one. The brakes are about as good as they ever were-which is not good by today's standards-and could be described as poor-although the wagon stops Clutch slave cylinder is old and dodgy-sometimes it doesn't push the clutch fork in after severall applications-so it needs replacement. ,Windscreen is smashed and cracked Back rhs corner has been backed into by the tracor blade and has small ding, which needs pumping back out.Otherwise the wagon is virtually completely straight. All the lhs sill and floor looks like 2yr old wagon everywhere that is not rusted is intact and quite servicesable and solid. The firewall and the bonnet and the front above screen and the entire lhs sill-the lhr door and the rhf and rhr door and all the centr pillars and internal rear substructur and internal floors and the chassi and the inner bonnet and engine bay-ARE ALL REALLY GOOD FOR THE AGE AND look to have been rust treated from new.
The interior is completely original and intact.
All gauges and functions work.
 and the handbrake works.
The gearbox and freewheel hubs are great
-the diffs are great,
the steering is ,well, its landcruiser!!. So there you have it restoration waiting for your attention. We have had  over 180 interested people ask me for the answers above-without anyone actually coming to view the wagon. PLEASE understand-TOYOTA made these Wagons in such way that Many rusted like this-without any assistance! This vehicle has lived in ashed all its life, and appears to be solidexcept where it is rusted. THE  RUSTED PARTS NEED CUTTING OUT.
I hope this super critical description helps all interested people to know what they are bidding on. WE DID NOT MAKE THIS VEHICLE_WE JUST OWN IT and despit the rusted bits-it is STILL GREAT TO DRIVE
