The Caravelle has been used until just recently and although still driveable (just) it is having Gearbox Transmission problems.However, would recommend not driving it as it could cause more damage.The Caravelle is being sold as is without rego and is available for inspection.It maybe repairable but is being sold as is, unregistered.
The history of the car is that have owned it for about 10 years.Up until year ago it was on Novated Lease, so it has been well looked after.Two services ago it had lot of work done on it as it was the end of the Novated lease and wanted to get everything fixed . The car is being sold 'As Is' and unregistered, my preference is that you inspect before you buy. The following information is to help you, but you are responsible for verifying that you are happy with the vehicle. 1) The engine is the original engine and no work has been carried out on it.It has an engine light that comes on and has done so for the last years or so ...... No one knows why .... but it has not given any problems .... they suspect faulty sensor .....It has the oil light on at the moment ..... This is because after 15, 000 km it needed topping up with oil ..... This was done, but the mechanics could not reset it, as they have replaced their computer system and it no longer talks to my car ..... The manual sensor is not working to reset it ..... Another garage may well have the correct computer equipment. 2) The Gearbox Transmission was replace about years ago under warranty .... An after market cooler was also added to help keep the transmission fluid cool ..... This was done under warrant ....... 3) The Sun Roof probably need a new seal as it has developed leak ..... which is why the lining above the passenger seat has come down bit. 4) The car has DVD player Navigation System and Hands Free Phone system ..... The Hands free is currently not working as when the battery went flat it lost power and the phone system must be started up before the Navigation ..... once this has been reset it will be good . 5) It has DVD player in the passenger area and believe that we have digital TV receiver ..... we have not used this in years .... but when last used it was working.6) It has (or maybe 12) CD stacker unit .... again not used in years.7) It has new battery from the RACQ in the last  months.8) One of the wing mirrors has been cracked.9) The tyre are near new, but the front ones have 'chunked' ..... This is where some of the tread has broken off ..... Apparently this can just happen .... checked with tyre place and they are legal and safe to drive on.10) The door panel has come off the inside of the sliding door.
If you are interested, then please come and have look ..... have been as truthful as possible and tried to indicate any problems to you ..... Probably not the best sales technique ..... but honest ......Once again, this information is to the best of my knowledge, but the car is sold as is ..... and you must check everything for yourself, as no warranty is implied ......
