With some reluctance am placing on the market my 1977 XC Ford Falcon 500 door hardtop. The vehicle is currently painted to matt black finish and fitted with black dynamic steel wheels (similar to the Sunraysia of the 1970's) to give it Mad Max inspired look. Following correspondence with Ford Motor Company of Australia, have been advised that the vehicle was sold by GM Jackson, Frankston Victoria after February 1977. purchased the vehicle in 2001 in disassembled state from an address at Bushy Park in southern Tasmania and have since restored it to road worthy condition.
The current odometer reading is 337595 km.
Highlights of my particular example include the following;

All rubber seals have been replaced along with new rubber lining in the bootFitted with GS front grille including round head lights and driving lightsVehicle identity verification letter from Ford
The vehicle is fully roadworthy and in top mechanical condition. The original XC grille with the square headlights, plus spare chrome trim are included with the sale. Please contact me for additional information and to arrange an inspection. Receipts are available for the majority of the work
Please also note inspection and collection of the vehicle and stamp duty is at the buyers cost.I am based in Launceston Tasmania.

Trim D-DoeskinOn 24-Sep-17 at 13:45:14 AEST, seller added the following information:All,I have been asked question about rust issues which for some reason could not post onto the message list accompanying this listing so have included my response below.There is small rust hole on the bottom right fender as mentioned on the listing. However it is simple matter to remove the fender, (undo the easily accessible bolts in the engine bay) plus two bolts (from memory) near the wheel arch. In the short term it could be sanded, kill rusted, and small amount of fibreglass applied.

There is some very minor surface rust under some of the bolt washers on the fenders in the engine bay,  and some surface rust on top of the brake fluid reservoir

Other than that, no rust issues that am aware of. The areas that typically rust on the coupe including the sill panels below the doors and the boot seal gutters  have been replaced along with the tail light panel. The sills and A-pillar inter internals have also been applied with fish oil. At the time of restoration the gutters that support the rear window rubber seal were sanded and treated. Since restoration was complete (about five years ago) the car has been garaged and not driven in the rain so do not expect rust issues here.

Rust can also occur in the base of the doors. However in this case the doors are free of rust. Note the vehicle was basically stripped completely back to the shell, sanded, primed and painted, (although not abrasive blasted). Some fibreglass was applied around the rear of the vehicle where it joins to the tail light panel but there is no evidence of any bubbling of the paint.On 25-Sep-17 at 20:32:43 AEST, seller added the following information:All,In response to further question, the odometer reading at the time the vehicle was re registered after had completed registration was 332541km. As mentioned in the listing the odometer reading is now 337595 km.The rebuilt engine has therefore completed around 5000 km.
