The "US" tagged machines were styled and coloured by BMW to encourage the growing American market and featured bright colours, telescopic front fork, touring handlebars and wide, comfortable seat. The "US" series was not sold via Australian dealerships. This particular machine was totally rebuilt including numerous, discreet improvements and upgrades that complement its relaxed cruising persona.
