ULTRA RARE 1972 BOAT TAIL SUPERGLIDE in classic sparkling America paint, this was Willy Davidsons first ever factory custom and the first model of the superglide. The appeal of these early boat tails is timeless, this matching number example has had recent partial restoration including new rear rim and SS spokes, new show quality paint, new factory correct exhaust, new seat upholstery. All of the chrome is near perfect. Engine was rebuilt years ago and has only travelled 9509 miles, has the original front and rear drum brake setup that changed in 73 to disc brakes. This bike has no modifications and is 100% factory specs. Also comes with rare letter and owners card from 1972 signed by John Davidson himself.
