The bike came from Witch Cycles inRockingham. It was meant to be demonstrator of Suzuki’s brand new V-Strommodel, hence the graphics on the tank. It had just had the $600 ‘Sta-In-Tune’ exhaustfitted when turned up with Kawasaki VN800 to trade-in and pocketful ofcash. After the dealer got the okay from Suzuki HQ to sell the demo before itwas actually demo’d, got them to fit top box and rode it home. It had 189kmon the odometer when bought it.It's had quiet life, still heaps of tread on the tyres. I’ve onlymanaged to put 6,653 k’s on it in almost 13 years. Most of that was cruising aroundthe south-west. It’s the sort of bike that given the right set of tyres it reallycan go anywhere, even around the country. I’d pump the tyres up, check thebrakes and change the fluids before doing that though. Some of the rubber isstarting to perish, the rack is starting to corrode and there is evidence ofsurface rust on the shiny bits. The chain could do with clean. The bike needsa thorough wash too, it's been neglected and sitting for years. Still, good buy for the right price. Some rulesfor the auction:No reserve price, no ‘buy-it-now’ price.Serious bidders only. Non-paying bidders will be reported. You are bidding to buy, if you do not have the money, do not bid.In the event of the winning bidder not paying, the runner up bidder will be deemed the winner of the auction.I am not interested in swaps or low ball offers.Full payment must be received within days of sale.Payment ispreferred via direct deposit, bank cheque or cash and must be bank clearedbefore the bike is taken. PayPal is not preferred and buyer is responsible forthe PayPal fees (+2.6% on top of the final price) if choosing this method.
