Selling my beloved GS500F. Its time for an upgrade.
Bought this bike brand new in Jan 2010 after getting my P-plates. Now I've been off them for while I'm finally looking to upgrade to more adventure tourer style bike.
Rego will be paid for 12 months shortly, and will expire 5/2/18.
My GS500f has had an easy life, was broken in following the manufacturer guidelines, full service history, only ever been on racetrack for intermediate rider training day and has never been dropped. The paint and bodywork is in near perfect condition besides the odd stone chip and gear strap rub mark which comes with the 20,000km of road time. I've replaced the original Bridgestone tyres for set of Perelli Sport Demons, rear was replaced in December 2016 while the front was done in Feb 2015. Its last service was in December 2016. Always been garaged, polished, cleaned and maintained.

Modifications:
Consulted local motorcycle tuners and purchased heavier front shock springs (with some preload) to prevent the front from bottoming out on gutters and driveways.
Swapped drive cogs, dropped tooth (15 to 14) to increase its acceleration performance.
Advanced the timing by Degrees resulting in better down low performance.
All around LED Lighting upgrade, Head, Tail, dash, Blinkers and flasher unit.

The history of the model and the overall simplicity of the bike makes it great for any learner who is thinking 125 or 250 is just that little bit too small. Myself being 85ish kilos means there is enough power for it to blast along on solo rides, but at the same time the bike doesn't upset or wallow when two up or carrying luggage either.
