BMW  R25/3  1955 250cc single  -  this is an original Australia deliveredmotorcycle with matching engine and frame numbers. Vin 329331.My research through European historian and restorer MarkHuggett  lists this machine as beingmanufactured on June 26th 1955 and delivered to BMW importer andnoted racer L.F. (Frank) Pratt of Pratt Motorcycles Australia on February 10th1956. The speedometer is calibrated in miles (not kilometre asEurope) and only showing  10,095 mileswhich believe is correct considering the overall condition of this bike.This bike is unrestored and is complete and original, hasoriginal paintwork and great patina. It has been fitted with dual seat(optional) which has identification plate of manufacturer – Schorsch Meier  dated 1955. Also comes with original tool kitand tyre pump.Engine runs brilliantly this bike would suit any BMWcollector, has original keys, alloy rims, new tyres, (Heidenau – Made inGermany) etc. The bike has been in storage for the past 10 years and onlystarted occasionally so would need some TLC before regular use again.Perfect for an easy restoration or use as is, small tear inseat cover.
