Due to having cancer removed from my neck and now having slight case of vertigo, have decided it's best to sell my bike. bought the bike just after the operation (about months ago) off friend who wasn't using it and that he knew some of the previous history with the bike in that It had been very well maintained, always fresh oils and the like. thought it was good chance to own an honest older bike now that don't ride as much as use to and have always owned older BMW's.
Overall, the bike presents very well, it has had the rhs bottom fairing replaced and colour matched to the rest of the bike not perfect though as one can notice the slight colour change from the rest of the panel colours. There coiuple of areas on the front top corners of the fairing where it has cracked nothing major and some marks to the panniers also. If you after one that is in pristine condition cosmetically look elsewhere but this is great example of KRT. The heatsheild on the exhaust that is usually missing is still attached (l did have to buy couple of OEM bolts/nuts to reattach it properly). The valve clearances were done at 136kms not sure by who but there is paperwork for it. All the locks on the panniers and topbox still work/have keys. All fluids changed about months ago.
I have since done major service on the bike in the last months, doing such things as clutch splines, driveshaft splines and basically replaced anything that was worn due to age etc. The clutch input and driveshaft splines were in great shape, new clutch plate installed/new rear main seals (both seals) and many numerous items replaced. Brand new metzler tyres (yes-brand new about kms around my block). Fork internals/tubes all dismantled and cleaned out with new fork seals and have installed gaitors. 
All the electrics work including the replaced dash the speedo wasn't working (common problem). New front disc rotors/pads. Many new smaller parts were added which have receipts for.
The bike rides/handles exceptionally well due to the steering head bearings being replaced forks serviced. As stated, have only ridden it around the block to make sure everything was ok. took the bike on longer ride prior to buying it and it went well then. Engine/gearbox wise is perfect the coolants' been changed (cooling fan cuts in when needed) to the blue coolant- had green coolant in prior and when did the major service, all oils were clean then which is always good sign! Comes with BMW tankbag, corbin seat (which is showing few signs of wear)  also comes the original seat which has been recently reupholstered and also comes with towbar not fiitted as don't have trailer but came with the bike when bought it.
No oil/water leaks at all. No pre purchase rides it's not reg/insured. can take you on the back around the block if you want to prior to buying it though. can get it reg/get rwc for it if you want as part of the deal for the cost of getting it done if you so prefer.It's an honest bike in great condition and will happily go many more miles. Just needs to be sold as think my riding days are over for some time, so no point having it sit in the shed gathering dust...  reserve the right to end the auction prior to auction ending.
