would love dollar for every photo that has been taken of this bike when I'm riding it.  I would be rich man.
BIKE HISTORY: Original Army surplus, bought from farmer in Sale. In April 1974 handed the plates in to the Country Roads Board as they were called registration number HE811.The bike was placed in storage until 2006 (32 years), at that point finally had the time and the money to restore it.
WORKS UNDERTAKEN:One year to complete the project, $12,500 dollars spent, the bulk of the money being on the running gear, Motor  (20 thousand oversize) Gearbox new cogs and case, as the old one had crack. Works were done by Rano and "Animal", WLA experts from Dandenong (now retired). Special built oil cooler fitted for hot days.Of late she has new plugs and points and new rear tyre 200 miles ago.Serviced every 500 miles with Penrite 40/70, kickstarts easy and holds the road well at 60mph.
WHY ARE YOU SELLING:I live in the country region now and the hard tail is too much for an old bloke, Last ride was 150 miles and the boys on their modern bikes were 30 mins ahead of me and as fresh as. It's cafe cruiser not highway road bike as have come to understand.The bike is valued by Shannon's at $22,500  however have put realistic reserve on WLA.  Will miss her.Cheers and happy bidding.
