1974 Aermacchi AMF Harley Davidson SX 175 rolling frame project. 
I had never heard of these Harleys before purchasing this frame. was however able to find some details on them. 
The Aermacchi Harley Davidson SX 175 was introduced in 1973 as 1974 year model. It was labeled as scrambler due the high exhaust and crossed tyres. It was 175cc two stroke single cylinder which is quite unique considering Harleys history of the famous twins. 
Aermacchi was an french aircraft builer who partnered with Harley Davidson for short period of time before being sold to Cagiva in 1978.
The SX 175 was built from 1974 to 1978 with 12,112 motorcycles being produced.
The frame number reads as follows:
5D SX 175Production Number 11,486H4 year 1974
The frame as pictured is covered in surface rust. The bash plate has rusted and the left kick stand mount is bent. The front forks, tripple clamps and wheel appear to be genuine Harley parts. The rear wheel is suzuki and the rear shocks are Hyosung which were thrown on to make roller. 
I purchased the bike out of impulse and intended to have it sandblasted and powdercoated for garage conversation peice however, believe someone out there would love to build this unique bike back to it's former glory.
It comes as picture with no other parts supplied as dont have any.
I have no idea what it's worth so I'll start the auction at $200.
No postage. Pick up only from Mudgee NSW 2850. will not meet half way or arrange couriers.
