This bike is as it rolled off the production line, Every Marking, Clip, Clamp, Nut and bolt came from the Honda factory, right down to the famous "Claw action Tyres of the day (they still have the yellow bands around the tyres from new). These tyres were designed exclusively for Honda and were purpose built enduro tyre designed to flex in for tremendous traction that self cleaned when they let go. Many firsts were introduced to the XR in the 79 Range, Like folding brake and gear levers, Folding foot pegs, Gas charging to shock absorbers and leading axle forks. This is an original Brand New Mint example.... MEGA RARE! considering no one ever really thought about collecting these back in 1979. It really is unique.
