up for sale have my 1989 Honda CBR 250 "hurricane" grey import, I am regretfully selling this cibby as is.. it has been sitting for years moved from here to there never stored outdoors always garaged... it does have NEW plugs leads coils, oil and oil filter. new fuel pump fitted as well as aftermarket pump running as backup.. new air filter new carb boots, all carbys fully rebuilt new jets needles rubbers, carbys balanced but may need to be redone.. chain has only seen around 500km it has sprocket upgrade that changed the gear ratio to very short shift very punchy off the line it has Honda virago 250 front sprocket and running xr 250 rear sprocket.. braided brake lines it has new thermo fan hard wired to switch to stop the overheating these bikes are known for sitting in traffic on hot days.. musarri race pipe, aftermarket indicators front and back, aftermarket mirrors, am including in this sale helmet and jacket, bike cover, original indicators, mirrors, exhaust pipe, sprockets, brake lines spare leads and coils if you are the hobby mechanic minded will throw in the vacuum balancing gauges as well.. again im selling as is un reg with no roadworthy.. will need new battery and most of the aftermarket bits changed back to stock for roadworthy, and most likely motorcycle shop to give it once over before cranking it over again as the bores will be very dry and it has had no fuel through it for years.. tyres have been sitting on carpet so they shouldn't have flat spots but there still roadworthy though id have them checked.. couple very minor scratches on tank from jacket zipper and has small dint on tank as seen in pic.. some very minor cosmetic damage from moving bike from house to house.. very awesome little cylinder carby bike with very sweet note that comes from exhaust similar to Ferrari note or formula car. happy bidding very sad to see it go.. pick up only Mickleham area near hume hwy
