Ripe for restoration, or custom cafe racer scrambler project

The indestructible Honda 250 twin engine from the CB250, in small cruiser frame.
Similar but better than Suzuki GN250/TU250 which is single cylinder.
Spoked wheels for that classic look: 18” front; 16” rear (easily swapped for other sizes from many Hondas)
Great start to motorcycling or for the smaller statured rider.

THE STORY: picked up this bike to use for parts on other projects, but think that's it's too good for that, and too complete to part out. Previous owner had started to strip for cafe conversion.

I was told it all there, but note that one side cover is missing.
Lights that are not on the bike are in the parts box (see pic).
Even has the original sissy bar pillion grab.
Front guard has been cut down.
Rear guard is custom and bit shy.

I did have this starting and running when first got it. put it in storage and it leaked oil so new gaskets are required at minimum. have not refilled or started it since storage.

What you see is what you get! No more, no less.
Detailed photos of everything that's included.
See photos of bike with silver tank and stepped seat. All other parts in separate photo.

Grab bargain and get this back on the road for summer!

If not restoring, check out the photos of mock ups made with different tanks and seats, and some Japanese customs of small engined bikes.

Please examine all photos as they are the best description of the bike,
or better yet come and inspect PRIOR to auction end.

Vital Stats:
The Honda CM250 is 234cc parallel twin cylinder air-cooled OHC four-stroke cruiser motorcycle produced by the Honda corporation from 1981—1983 with top speed of 85 MILESph and delivering 70mpg. The 234cc North American market variant was coded as the CM250C and was the precursor to the current Honda CMX250C, also known as the Honda Rebel 250.

The CM250TB is based on the Honda Superdream CB250N engine but with five-speed and not six-speed gearbox. The model is instead characterised by its North American cruiser styling with stepped seat, high handlebars, 'megaphone' exhaust silencers, teardrop-shaped tank and many chromium-plated and polished alloy parts.
