Just bought manual cam chain adjusters to go with the bike as they are highly recommended by the Owner's Club as the standard automatic tensioners are prone to failure.If you buy one of these, be sure to buy manual tensioners if they are not already fitted.

Bought this recently but am selling it because find the riding position with clipons is bit too hard on my poor old back.
The guy bought it from is also elderly like me (60yo+) and he owned it for years but was somewhat taller than me so didn't have problem with the riding position.

In very good condition.
Has been well maintained with regular oil changes every 5000km and radiator fluid changed last year. (according to the previous owner).
The oil is clean with no leaks.
Very smooth to ride, handles like dream and very quick.
Stops very well with triple discs.
Comes with Gearsack rack and bag.
Oggy Knobs fitted to protect the bike in case of fall.
Staintune mufflers.
Continental tyres (great grip) have heaps of tread.
Near new chain and good sprockets.
No cracks or dents in bodywork.
Can be ridden with the rear cowling on for solo riding and the cowling can be removed in seconds for carrying pillion.
Tank guard fitted to stop scratches from your belt buckle.Lucky 13 sticker is easily removed if you don't like it. (separate sticker from the circles that are underneath it).
Some very minor surface rust on some of the painted frame parts (hard to see and easily fixed. Too minor to get it to show up in photos).
The rest of the cosmetics is pretty good. few scratches on the swing arm.
I was told by the previous owner that the low fuel warning light doesn't work. Might be just globe. haven't bothered to find out because it doesn't really worry me.
Everything else is really good.
63,00km is not lot of mileage on these bikes and the motors are described by the VTR Owners' Club as "Bulletproof".
Honda realiability is well known and you should get many years service from this bike.
Same styling as Ducati Sports but more reliable and cheaper on parts.

I would not recommend the bike for someone just stepping up from "P" plates (unless you are sensible) as these bikes are very quick. Accelerating quickly from the lights will bring the front wheel off the ground and winding it out in 2nd gear (6 speed gearbox) will have you doing expressway speeds so caution is required.
Advertised elsewhere at $4700 which think is fair price.Most of these at $4000 and under are unreg or high mileage.Starting bid price of $3200 gives you plenty of room to buy very good bike at good price.Just remember, you are bidding to buy, not to negotiate or to inspect.Inspections welcome and encouraged PRIOR to the end of the auction.
