bought this bike in 1995 from the original owner as non runner and it had spent some time out in the weather so the plastics were faded, the head was cracked due to an incorrect spark plug. got good used head and checked the bottom end out in the process, with all being fine, honed the cylinder and fitted new rings and the replacement head. made black vinyl cover for the tank, fitted new black guards and painted the headlight surround and side covers black. serviced the forks and fitted new seals, boots and steering head bearings and serviced the brake caliper. fitted Renthal alloy bars and made solid alloy end caps. fitted lighter rear shock spring to suit an 80 kg rider, serviced the shock bearings, linkage bearings and swingarm bearings. fitted new sprockets and ring chain, front and rear wheel bearings, front and rear brake pads/shoes and tyres and alloy muffler.The intention was that the bike was for my wife to learn to ride, but she didn't take to it very well so the bike spent years in the shed till my daughter grew up and gave it shot, but with busy life the trail rides were few, the bike stayed in the shed for years again after my daughter left home. Till last year in October when decided to take it out for weekend myself, it did the job quite well without any problems.Since 1995 and essentially complete rebuild the bike has done about hours work with only my hours of riding last year being relatively hard.I don't see myself ever riding it again so it's time to part with it.Now it is 32 years old but is still kid by heart and good for many years of fun and it's Honda so you know it's good.Happy bidding.
