XR500RE. am the second owner since new. have owned the bike for about 15 years and have not ridden it in about 10. am little more road bike oriented and the old girl has`nt seen lot of action.The tyres, chain and sprockets are only about rides old. She has new fork seals and gators and UNI air filter. She was always well serviced, and looked after by me. The guy who bought it off stood on the curb being hugged by his wife and kids as drove away with it, he truely doted on the motorcycle.The indicators are brand new, never fitted to the bike from new.The bum bag was the same but fitted it when got the bike. I put fresh fuel in her the other day and third kick she was away, first kick every time after.She needs new home as she is just sitting under cover here. Would make great vinduro bike. Very hard to find this original or with such low miles. All electrics work, easy to register. Only thing needed is possible kit for fuel tap. Had very slight leak, or should say weep. Front disc brake needs solvent wash or pad replacement due to my generosity with WD40 over the whole bike. Other from that it`s good to go.
