Kawasaki ZL1000 Eliminator, 1987. Described as Power Cruiser back in the day.
I bought it couple of years back as project which never got back to. There are bikes in the shed and only is getting ridden. Too many rego's and not enough room means have decided to offload this beast.
These are very rare with only 2,500 sold worldwide and not many in Australia. Parts for these sell for top dollar in the US where there is bit of cult following.
This one has had the ZG (GTR) engine transplant and according to the previous owner this engine has less than 20,000 km's on it. The only difference is slightly milder cam. However can assure you this girl flies. have had it over 200kph and then realised still had another gear.
Stock they are listed at 231kph.
As you can see in the photos she is not perfect. Things have noticed which would need tidy unless you don't mind things little rough around the edges are, ding in tank. suspect the bars might not be standard and may have hit the tank.there is small tear in the seat.the tyres are in very good condition but bit old.the disc rotors are bit grooved but it still stops wellSo the starting price is very low to reflect it could do with bit of tidy up, so have been realistic with price. If you are prepared to spend few $$$$ and some time you will end up with hell of bike for $20k less than Harley!!!!. Engine parts are common.
It has Staintune exhausts
There is lot of potential here either to have killer Cruiser or make money by parting it out. seriously considered breaking it up for parts myself but it seems shame since it is rare machine.
