Here have 1971  Norton Commando for sale that won't get around to finishing off.  As you can see by the photos have installed several subtle upgrades to improve the bikes performance such as Boyer electronic ignition, single Amal carby conversion, later model switch gear indicators as well as new wiring loom.    The motor has been rebuilt without any issues and the gearbox and clutch has been checked out and works as it should.  It starts easily goes well and sounds sensational.  It also has new battery, chain, fuel taps and Tacho cable.   It also runs belt drive primary with the original included.  To finish it off it needs brake light switch, both gauges and some minor electrical issues.     It comes with different style alloy tank and seat as well as the usual spares that you collect when rebuilding bike.   You can see that there is some good gear on this bike.   put my own spin on it as you can see by the paintwork on the tank and the fairings.  The frame has been coated as well.  The plan was to do cafe racer but won't finish it.   It's probably about 90 finished and deserves to be finished off.    I have lowered the reserve as would like to move it on so would consider any reasonable offers.
I apologise to any bidders that were seriously looking.    The bike was sold but unfortunately the purchaser decided not to go ahead with the deal for whatever reasons. On 24-Sep-17 at 17:52:14 AEST, seller added the following information:The reasons were personal and not any thing to do with the bike.   (just in case anyone has concerns why the deal didn't go ahead
