: | “A complete RM125 that was running but is dismantled to suit whatever you which to do - a clean up and paint with a few new bits or a full resto. I would suggest needs seat cover (and foam if fussy) LHS side cover (I was going to replace all with new ones but all others are there but have been painted)and a few bits and pieces like handgrips, levers and the alloy will polish up a treat. Swingarm has a hairline crack part way above the factory weld that is an easy fix.” |

I bought as non runner some time ago for project as wanted one of these when was kid. Fixed the ignition and she started 2nd kick!
Left sitting for while then started to dismantle for full resto, removed all the paint from the petrol tank after getting it dismantled as per the pictures last weekend realised have now thoroughly lost time and interest and 50 yo has no need for MX bike.
Does not need much done to use as hack, just clean, paint, and detail as well as few minor parts/repairs. had planted to buy new plastics, paint and polish everything.........
I have purchased some new parts (see the last photo) such as perfect suspension linkages, gaskets, stickers etc and has couple of extra spares. Sprockets good, lower forks are very good, has all plastics except LHS cover. is on max oversize bore 2,25 so probably an RM130!!!. Perfect restorer or reassamble and detail her up and use as is. (The FIRST photo is before dismantled)
These were the best 125 in their day.
I am after fuss free sale have seen people want this much for an engine only to suit reco, or $200 for the petrol tank! Also advertised elsewhere but first bid will commit to the auction process after contact.
Payment on pick up will accept payment via means other than cash if you pay the fees and sign for collection.
Thanks for looking :-)
