This bike was missing quite few of the original parts when got it so decided to turn it into sort of 60's scrambler. None of the frame has been modified due to the rarity of these bikes. still have the original tank which is painted in the same scheme, original seat and front guard. if anyone wanted to take it back to original it could be done. The following has been done
*Stripped to frame, powdercoated, new headstem bearings
* Fork rebuilt gaiters fitted
*Wheels powdercoated, new bearings and brake shoes
* New Pirelli Dual sport tyres
* Engine had top end reuild, carb cleaned and overhauled
* Exhaust modified, wrapped and fitted with reverse cone muffler
* polished SS guards front and rear
* Jailbar taillight and turn signal
* Bars powdercoated and new controls/ grips fitted
* Billet alloy mirrors
* Early Yamaha tank fitted
* Custom Metallic orange and Evoke charcoal paint, pack cleared
* Custom XT550 Seat
* In frame oil temp guage
* new battery
this is good fun bike that light and has plenty of poke, The first of the big bore singles it is Kick start only. Good to ride, nimble on the road and still capable on the dirt. have the original tank which will extend the range if longer trip is required, gets about 140km out of the small tank. It is on club rego so will be sold without rego and RWC. RWC can be organised for cost ($50)
Can meet serious buyers on the road somewhere for look and test ride if you cant get to Stanthorpe, It is advertised elsewhere so sale can be cancelled
