It is time for my much loved Yamaha XV1700 or Road Star Warrior (sounds better) to go. Now that the grand kiddies have come along, it's time for me to "act my age" and stop being "one of the boys" and also I've gotten bit soft......... preferring the comforts of windscreen, heated handle bars and paniers (all of which wouldn't look too good on the Warrior) So here it is! It's 2003 model, with the 1700 cc (or 102 cubic inches in the old money) fuel injected motor and speed gearbox, sending all that power and torque via belt to the 200 wide back tyre, with plenty of poke to put the wind up you, if you're not hanging on when you "twist the wrist!" and plenty of growl from the exhaust to let people know you're around. With 64,000kms on it, am the second owner and I've had it for 8ish trouble free years (only had flat battery and rubbed through vacuum hose in all that time and never suffered the indignity of riding on trailer like certain "HD" brand would've) well maintained and serviced, tyres were replaced about 3000kms ago. Mostly used for weekend recreational rides. Has few chips and scratches and some of the aluminium bits could do with good polish. Other than that, there is no damage and it has never been "dropped" It also comes with passenger back rest and separate luggage rack as well.The bike is registered (in Queensland) until 18/8/2016 and comes with RWC. All inspections welcome, bike is located in North Lakes
