Upon completionit was coated and driven vigorously, tested for straightness and rigidity. We then stripped it to the frame, and glassblasted it ($1500) just to get to the holes in each chain and underneath to get it preparedfor paint. We glass blasted the frame and did the bed. The seat is from an Odyssey and was customized ($1200) tonot only flip forward, but also come forward upwards to expose theelectronics ECU ($2000) and other items sitting below, as well there is spot forstorage. Custom modified shift skull with press down, to engage gears. BodyThis is 1940 Chevy ½ ton pickup with ZERO RUST, thepaint is 77 years old Patina Red. There was some custom splashes of orange inthe paint to give it nice old school look, along with the decals on thedoors. The glass has all been removed and replaced with brandnew cut glass with 10% tint on all five windows. The Fulton sun shade wasdissembled and painted black. Door handles corrected. The body was then clearcoated. The cab is incredible, body work alone was in the thousands. The frontgrill is rare piece from 1934, as are the lights from 1933 retro.Brand New Glass all around the truck five windows Brand New Seals all around the truck Wheels22 inch Chip Foose start black wheels, the rears arerunning 305/40/22 fronts are 275/40/22, the tires and wheels are new.($3500) EngineThe 454 block is freshly bored andtorque plate molly honed to .060 sonic checked to ensure concentric cylinder wallthickness after boring and honing.The block has been line honed,square decked, and new cam bearings installed along with new brass freezeplugs. All bolt holes and threads arefine.This engine has brand new set oflightweight, fully CNC machined probe forged pistons and sheet pro plasma molly rings (1/16, 1/16, 3/16 oil.) Thesepistons yield pump gas friendly 10.251 compression ratio. Keith Black is an industry leader inpistons. They have been assembled with new setof piece stainless steel swirl polished severe duty quality cast valves (2.25x 1.88.) These valves are 11/32 stem and.250 longer than stock. new set ofdouble springs and chromoly retainers with hardened locks and new set of pcseals. These heads also have newaluminum or stainless steel 1.7 ratio full roller rocker arms. New pushrods, new rocker studs, guide platesand new set of Chromalloy 12 point cylinder bolts with Teflon tape. Pan balancer, timing cover and pump notincluded.This engine has been completelytorn down and reassembled via Eagle Engines in Toronto. It is brand new, and isa monster,(see pics ). Originally this truck was going to be ¼ mile setup. With 540HP and 480 pounds torque,running through huge straight pipes, the power is incredible. Two 500 CFM Edelbrockcarbs are mounted on top for massive air grab, these ran me $1500 alone. Thismotor has hours driving time on it, it is BRAND NEW. have $9400 into themotor. TransmissionBrand new rebuilt 480le transmission from 2010 Sierra,this transmission is electronically controlled with gears, most importantlywith overdrive for highway cruising.
