Custom1946 Ford Business CoupeDESCRIPTION:Chopped,shaved, and frenched ’46 Ford Coupe painted in ’57 Chevrolet Tropical Turquoiselacquer.  Power comes froma 400 c.i. Chevy small block backed by Turbo 350 automatic.  Custom interior fabricated from 1965 FordThunderbird. The ‘Coupe’ had its ‘frame-off’ build completed in the mid-1980’susing ‘lead’ to fill the seams and bodywork. Approximately 67000 miles have been logged on the Ford since itscompletion.  Always well maintained andgarage kept.  Current owner is the secondsince it was completed.  Many subtle modificationsand upgrades which make this Custom pleasure to drive anywhere.NO TRADESIF YOU HAVE AN EBAY RATING OF LESS THAN YOU MUST CONTACT ME BEFORE BIDDING OR BIDS WILL BE CANCELED.Body& Paint:TheCoupe’s body is ALL STEEL and has been chopped 4”; welded leaded bodyseams; drip rails were shaved; 117 louvers in hood; frenched headlights; frenched’50 Merc taillights; sunken power antenna; nosed decked; LED lights underrocker panels.  The Ford was never ‘TrailerQueen’ and the thirty-five plus year body work still looks good even thoughthere are some ‘road chips’, bubbling in couple of areas, and ‘spyder’ cracksin the lacquer (see photos).  Custompinstriping both inside and out by DeWayne Connot.DriveLine:A stockbut rebuilt (2006) Chevrolet 400 c.i. small block along with the Turbo 3503-speed automatic transmission runs smooth and has never over heated.  Edelbrock 650 4-barrel rides on top of the aluminumintake manifold with stock exhaust manifolds into dual exhaust.Chassis& Suspension:Stock1946 Ford frame with Plymouth Volare torsion bar front clip.  Power steering and brakes (disc front, drumrear).  Dodge rear differential w/ 3.23:1gears and an Auburn Posi unit mounted on stock springs.  Custom Chrome Reverse 15” wheels with ‘real’wide white walls.InteriorInteriorwas added in 2017 and came from ‘65 Ford T-Bird.  Refinished in light gray vinyl and pinstriped.  Owner made the custom console for the B&Mshifter.  Power windows (driver’s sidewindow has slight crack, see photo).
