This auction is for my 1949 Cadillac Series 61 Sedan project. bought this car years ago from the estate of the second owner, but never did anything with it. The car was stored under lean-to for many years.Hasn't been touched since the plates expired in 1978. The motor is complete from fan to flywheel. It turns by hand, but I’ve never tried to start it. It’s just cool old Cadillac with potential. It could be restored, or used as donor for Sedanette restoration. If the car doesn't sell... it's getting parted. 
It has the original 331 V8, and optional Hydra-Matic transmission. Other options include push button am radio/antenna, under seat heaters, glare proof rear view mirror, backup lights, windshield washer, and door edge guards. The dealer installed "Frigi-King" under dash a/c system in the early-mid 50’s, and it’s still intact. Odometer reads 75K. doubt it would take much to get it running again.
There is no evidence of accident damage anywhere on the car. It's actually pretty solid for being 72+ years old. The only place found rust was in the passenger front rocker panel... which also affected the leading edge of the floor under the sill plate. The bumpers, grill, and most of the exterior chrome polished up well. The interior chrome is in excellent condition. 
The car is missing the following miscellaneous items: original steel wheels/hubcaps, some emblems, the rear seat, taillight lenses, turn signal lenses, gear shift knob, radio knobs, horn button, and fender skirts. None of the glass is cracked, but the windshield does have fogging. can’t open the trunk, but can see from inside it’s empty. The original paint color was #10 French Gray, the interior was #37 Gray Dual Cord Broadcloth. Not many restorable 49 Cadillac’s left (even sedans).
