This is of the 19 Rare early 1965 Factory Silver Metallic built, now only 11 are know to exist in the World per PORSCHE Registry.
Silver Metallic was not offered to the public in early 1965 for 65' 911 models. Cause PORSCHE Racing Color was Silver.Last 1965 Silver Metallic Porsche sold at auction for $407K as shown in attached photo, and that PORSCHE did not Race. Kardex shows lots of mechanical work done to the car immediately after completion date, this shows that it could have been factory Prepared Porsche race car, Porsche racing color was Silver Metallic. Car Runs very good!Seems like the car continued racing cause it has 1973 Porsche 911 strong Engine and RSR racing body kit, it does have the original factory matching number transmission. If racing history is found this car is worth more as it is. If not, original fenders are underneath the RSR fenders, which will make it easier to restore it back to original.
