Superclean driver – mostly original 1971 Corvette Stingray Coupe has been CA/AZcar with only four owners. 2ndowner located in Tucson, AZ who had the car for 12 years. Original ownerlocated in Sacramento, CA had the car for 32 years. #’smatching big block 454- LS5 (365HP) with 85K original miles. Re-built less than 2,500 miles ago. TH400 Automatic Trans, Original Quadra-Jet Carb was also rebuilt and the A/C wasconverted to R134 and blows cold. Factoryinstalled options on the T-top Coupe include: Factory A/C, PS, PB, audiosecurity alarm, 3-pt harness seat belts, removable rear window, and rearluggage rack.Thecar has no rust and factory “Sunflower” Yellow exterior paint was refreshed bythe original owner and is still in nice condition. The Fiberglass body isstraight and all panel seams are even. All chrome and emblems are in greatshape. No accidents in its history. Blackinterior is all original and in great shape for being as old as the car is. Allgauges including the fiber optics console lights including the dash clock allwork. Originalowner had changed out the radio to later model corvette radio/cassetteplayer, seller has the original radio that was in the car. Inaddition Tune-up (Plugs, wires, distributor cap rotor, Pertronix kit& Coil installed to get rid of the points but still retains the stock look,timing advance set), new PCV Valve, oil changed, new aluminum radiator& fan shroud, new alum water pump installed, all new belts hoses, newHD Fan clutch, new battery, new starter, vacuum actuators for both headlightsand wiper door are new. Steeringcolumn has been completely rebuilt, gas tank was dropped, flushed, new sendingunit and gaskets and lines installed, new original style fuel cap. Transmissiontorque converter cover was missing, new one installed. Complete new duelexhaust system with X-pipe and 40 series FLOWMASTERS. LS6open air cleaner installed, but still have the original duel snorkel (ugly)LS5 closed system. Receiptsfor above work as well as previous owners work done are all in binder thatwill go with the carItemsnot working: Windshield washer motor,Heater core disconnected (have new one) Thiscar has always been garaged kept and never driven in inclement weather asevidence by its overall interior exterior condition. It isnot frame-off restoration perfect car. You don’t get frame-off restorationcondition in this price range.Thiscar runs and drives well, steering tracks straight and no pulling towardseither side. Engine temp runs cool with new radiator auxiliary fans. A/Cblows cool. Brakes work well and tires are still in almost new condition. Numerousnew small parts that have been accumulated come with the car, just haven’tgotten around to getting installed yet, they will all go with the car at sale.Clear title in hand.
