1971 Volkswagen Karmann Ghia
One year ago this car underwent an extensive mechanical rebuild, which included: 
- New rebuilt engine by Gary LeBanc of Suburban Engine formerly known as Boston Bob. All new pistons, cylinders, bearings, line bore case, new crank and rods, ported heads, upgraded electronic distributer, oil pump, and new tins. The engine runs better than new. - Rebuilt front axle including: steering box, ball joints, tie rods, stabilizer, new German axle. - All new brake lines, master cylinder, rear complete brakes, and all four shocks replaced-New tires and wheels. Original wheels and hub caps included.-New gas tank and gas lines.-New clutch.- Hot start relay and Gene Berg engine temperature warning sensor. 
Originally from Arizona, this car has always been garaged and has never been out in the winter. The Karmann Ghia drives flawlessly and starts right up with plenty of power. had planned to restore the body this summer, but have recently bought VW Thing that is taking up my attention. The paint job has some minor scratches and chips. It is good ten foot paint job. Pans are solid with few rust spots. The headliner is new, but as this was barn find there is small hole in the upper right-hand corner of the liner.
