1976 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray1976CHEVROLET CORVETTE STINGRAY just under 26,500 MILES ALL ORIGINAL #'S MATCHING EXCELLENT CONDITION CORVETTE.I am the 4th owner. The original owner ownedthe car for about 20 years and kept it inside his home in climate controlledbasement.  The 1st owner then sold it toa car dealer who kept it as his personal corvette for few years. am the 4thowner. The corvette has just under 26,500 original miles. This is numbers matching, 100%original corvette. purchased the car in in 2011 and it took me years of searchinguntil found corvette that truly was original. The 3rd owner of the carsanded the underneath frame and repainted it black for sleeker look. He alsoinstalled dual stainless steel exhaust. In 2010 the 3rd owner took thecar to Firestone (Columbus, Ohio) to have the oil changed and when they put itup on the racks small crack surfaced on the back rubber bumper. The 3rdowner decided to have the back and front bumpers replaced and painted with new Chevroletfiberglass bumpers since the insurance would cover it due to Firestone's mistake.If you are familiar with the original rubber bumpers you know that they warpover time. With the new fiberglass bumpers the car looks better than ever. Thecar is true survivor. It has T-tops, I’m told it has original paint, originalinterior, original everything all in excellent condition.The car is equipped with the 350L-48 engine, automatic transmission, air conditioning, leather interior, rally wheels, power steering, tilt steering wheel and dual exhaust.  I have garaged the car in climate controlledgarage and the 3rd owner also did for the entire time he owned thecar. This corvette is truly all original with actual mileage. There are no modifications except for the front and rear bumpers as mentioned in the description. The interior of the car is like new with no imperfections. The chrome is rust free with no fading or pitting. The jack and spare  tire have never been used. The condition of the entire car is true reflection of the actual mileage.  The electrical system is fully operational and the wiring like new. The power windows and the headlight doors operate quickly.The engine and transmission are in excellent mechanical condition. have seen and inspected quite few cars from this time period and to find one in this condition usually involves restoration. would welcome an independent inspection of the entire car. Included are the original owners manual, maintenance schedule and consumer information documents.
