TA 400 Engine, Speed, AC, Hurst Tops and the W72 Performance Package! Original Matching Numbers Engine and Transmission. Please see photos of vin on engine and trans. This is a rare car with these options. I was Pontiac dealer in 1977 and ordered these when new. During the 77 model year there was only a short period of time that you could order a TA 400 Engine W72, L78 with Speed Transmission, Factory Air Conditioning and the Hurst T-Top option. cannot remember exactly why. The memo came across my desk from Pontiac but that was 42 years ago. One repaint, very slick and the body is straight as an arrow. Very nice and correct mostly original interior in extra cost Lombardy Black Cloth. Runs and drives wonderful! Air Conditioning has been rebuilt and blows cold. All gauges work, lights work, etc. Please note the bottom photos of this car, never been restored underneath, just cleaned and detailed. That is the original red oxide primer, factory did not do very good job. Only slight surface rust on bare metal parts. The lift it is sitting on is little rusty, Not The Car. have the PHS documents plus the Perfect Original Build Sheet! Photos are included. Please take look at the photo of the trim tag. The numbers on the build sheet match the body trim tag build numbers, other numbers perfect.
