am helping my friend sell his well loved 1978 Jimmy. Here is the history the pictures tell the story. The vehicle is one owner that was purchased new as 4-wheel drive in 1978. The Jimmy was never in an accident, but was completely repainted in 1998 along with having new GM doors, fenders, hood, tailgate and inner fenders replaced. In 2010 the vehicle had full frame off restoration and at that time 1981 2-wheel drive rolling chassis plus numerous upgrades and modifications were added to the vehicle. crate 350 engine was installed and it is rated for 300 horsepower and with the added ram air TPI, high compression heads and headers it is estimated at 340 hp +/-. The transmission is an upgraded 700-R4 and is connected to high ratio stock rear end. The interior has been fully redone with costume made console, captain seats and extra gauges. The Jimmy has always been garage kept and hardly ever driven since 2010.
