1978 Trans Am I had purchased My 1978 Trans Am off of ebay for 13 900.00 USD fundsDec 21 2007 It was located in California. Knowing that would be buying Trans Am in the near future, had already started to build replacement 6.6l engine for it April /2007. This sat for several months until proper Trans Am was bought  ( an original engine that came with the car when bought it is still sitting in my garage along with the transmission ). Once the car was transported to Surrey,  Canada. The engine and transmission along with the torque converter were put in by Riverdale services. They also put in new carb,  transmission cooler, Electric fan for cooling and single serpentine belt system. Another addition to the car was the new interior. The gentleman who did the interior works specifically on older cars to produce show car interiors he was highly recommended by gasoline alley ). We also had him install the stereo system type alpine pro series seperates in the car interior and 8-inch subs in the trunk 8-inch subwoofers are different brand name )).The car was converted to wheel disc brakes last summer. It has possi rear end, when taking sharp corners you can really feel it. The rear end has 3.73 gears.   The car was bought with 84 361 miles on it and after owning it for ten years the odometer now reads 99 192 miles. We have only put 14831 miles on it in 10 years of owning it, the car has been joy to have.
