However, have too many other projects &don’t have any more time to devote on this one! Since I’ve had it, I’ve put about 2,500mi. onit. Odometer currently shows 26,985 but it’s definitely rolled (maxes out at99,999). When picked it up, the entirefront end was covered in oil from the leaking seals at the top of the block& could barely turn over due to due airflow issues. Since that time, the gaskets and valve coverswere replaced. New PCV valve airfilter, carb jets cleaned. Plugged upvacuum advance leaks redundant systems associated w/ the air pump (if youneed this car to pass an emissions test, pls note this will need torectified). Oil filter changedless than 250 miles ago. Aftermarket CDplayer! Here’s what know needs to be attendedto :U-Joint. Definitelyworn, makes an audible noise when you transfer power from the transmission(ie., shifting). It will likely have tobe replaced within the next 10,000 miles.Switches. Two issues: one is faulty oil pressure switch. Light indicator only, flickers stays on sporadically. The switch on this car bottom of the engineblock. The other is the switch for theheadlights. It’s the kind you pull toactivate – the knob is disconnected from the housing so it does not currentlyslide out smoothly (ie., you currently have the fiddle w/ it bit to get thelights on).Brakes. About 25%life remaining. Pads will likely have tobe replaced within the next 7,000 miles.Interior. Its seenmuch better days. The driver seat willneed to be replaced or reupholstered. The driver side seat belt is damaged will need to be replaced.Exterior. Same storyas the interior. Clear coat is comingoff, various dings bumps but overall – the body is fairly straight. One of the trim pieces is not attached to theframe but do have it to provide!As consequence of the aforementioned oil leak, the block /hood bay were heavily caked in oil when got the car. The hood sides have been extensivelyscrubbed began working to clean to block, starting from the driver side& working my way over. This isfairly tedious process stopped at about the distributor – there’s quitea bit more remaining! Due to the amountstill present on around the manifold, it starts to burn off when the car getsto operating temp (this is light, white smoke you see coming off the block inthe video).You get all the spare parts in the trunk Chilton’smanual!
