1982 PORSCHE 930 TURBOVIN: WP0JA0932CS050079 Engine: 67C0423 Transmission: G930/3477C0445175,470km/108,791milesPaint to Sample Metallic Beige/Beige LeatherOptional Equipment (From COA):  Leather Sport Seats, Alarm, Heated and TintedWindshield, Electric Sunroof, Pirelli tires, Limited Slip Differential, DigitalRadio, Plain Electric Mirror – right.A Flickr album was created with over 70 photos of the vehicle, including many of the underside and engine bay, flickr.com/photos/55027262@N06/albums/72157668754963276The Porsche 911 Turbo needs little introduction, both as‘the’ iconic post war sports car or, recently, as an investment gradecollectible.  Values have doubled ortripled in the last few years as the market has finally woken up to this carsstatus among all car enthusiasts who remember the monumental impact it made inthe 1970’s and 1980’s.This particular is Canadian Market Car, always in WesternCanada.  It was #79 of 89 Canadian speccars built in 1982.  1,027 930’s wereproduced worldwide that year, which was one of the least voluminous years for930 production.  No 930’s were sold intothe US from 1980-1985, although many made their way there through grey marketimportation.  Canadian market cars wererated at the full 300hp as were the European models.It was ordered in Paint-to-Sample Metallic Beige, with adark Brown and Beige leather interior. Key options include the Sunroof, Sports Seats and Limited SlipDifferential.Normally 930’s were magnets for modification andpersonalization, and there are not many cars out there that are completelyoriginal.  At minimum most cars have someor all of the following: an aftermarket stereo, speakers, alarm (which alwaysdrains the battery), wheels and wastegate (increasing the boost) and/or alarger intercooler and Turbocharger. This car has none of this.  It iscompletely stock, even the rear parcel shelf is virgin.We have maintenance history on this car from the year 2000with 60,000km on it.  It is unremarkablewith the usual oil and brake fluid changes, A/C issues etc.  In the last few years the car was called fornumerous oil leaks.  It was in front end collision in 2011, and the repair billwas $c20,000.  thorough inspection ofthe affected area reveals professional job, and the shut lines and panel fitare still within factory tolerances. Re-assembled and painted there is noindication whatsoever that the car was ever in collision.Porsche Centre Calgary purchased the car in August 2015, andhave given the car cosmetic restoration and mechanical refresh at totalcost of over $c30,000.   The engine-outmechanical service came to just over $10,000. The glass-out, bumpers/bonnet/engine cover off respray was $17,000.  Re-stitching the steering wheel, andrepairing the piping and bolster on the drivers seat was $2,500 etc. etc.The shop bill from Porsche Centre Calgary shows 96,000kmservice with valve adjustment, R&R of the engine and gearbox and thereplacements of numerous seals and hoses. The Crankcase and cylinder barrels were OK and were not disassembled.This vehicle comes with the original spare tire, tool roll and books.In summary, this is what would describe as an honestdriver that has been cosmetically and mechanically refreshed-it looks fantasticin its one-off colour, and drives beautifully.
